One of our local favorites, good food and super staff. The atmosphere is nice in the Biergarten and Wintergarten. Backhandel is really good, and the Majtes is the best I’ve had in Europe. Will definitely return.

Friendly staff. I really enjoyed the Schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Two friends ordered steak and it was overdone, still tasty and good quality but the chef should know what rare is. That however will not stop us from visiting this place again as all the other food was delicious and well prepared. Tip: The pork in Altbier sauce and Schnitzel with mushroom sauce is what to order at this place. We needed to show negative COVID test. ( Which is really fair and to be expected) Free test station is across Aldi not far from the restaurant.
